The SPFL’s lower league highlights show has now topped 250,000 views across season 2023/24.
The SPFL’s Scottish Football Round-Up programme has been watched by an average of over 10,000 viewers a week since it was introduced for the start of the League campaign.
The SPFL’s digital team chose to introduce the show to improve the viewing experience for both supporters and clubs. The programme has commentary for all games in the cinch Championship, cinch League 1 and 2 in one TV show – by utilising a mix of Club TV commentary, and a narrative voiceover.
The show – which can be watched on YouTube - reached the milestone figure of 250,000 views in recent days, and viewers have also risen from last season’s equivalent highlights package.
Neil Doncaster, SPFL group chief executive, said: “It’s been great to see our Scottish Football Round-Up programme continue to go from strength to strength in recent months.
“Our digital team has worked tirelessly on providing the voiceover for every single game, so it’s really pleasing to see the team’s work continue to be well received by supporters and clubs.
“I’d like to thank our clubs for their support in providing the highlights, and we hope fans continue to enjoy the show for the rest of the season.”
It’s the first time the SPFL has produced commentary for all games across the three lower leagues.
The cinch SPFL’s Scottish Football Round-Up is available to watch on the SPFL’s official YouTube channel every Tuesday from 5pm.
