Scotsport, the longest running sports programme in the world, brings viewers an exciting new, fully interactive programme on Friday nights just for the fans - Scotsport Fanzone.
Jim Delahunt will be joined by live and opinionated guests every week to tackle all of the big issues facing Scottish football and to preview the weekend action.
The Scotsport forum is brought to life in this fast-paced, hour-long programme where the viewers play upfront, featuring:
- expert comment with live guests, ready to chat to the fans; - exclusive brand new competitions with a twist;- the chance to win a grand in the first episode;- a 'rant line' offering viewers their chance to get what's really bugging them off their chest, with the best rants aired on the show;- on-air phone polls;- on-screen info offering viewers a steady stream of facts, figures and comments; - on-screen email comments; - comment text line;- highlights and clips from the week's football action.
Jim Delahunt said: "The forum on the Scotsport website is incredibly popular so we felt it would be a good idea to let the fans loose live on air. We'll have a ten second delay though, so the airwaves won't be turning blue!"
Henry Eagles, Executive Producer of Sport at Scottish TV said: "Scotsport Fanzone is a show for the fans. Up to 300,000 viewers regularly tune in to Scotsport SPL on a Monday night so we know that there are fans out there who want to have their say - Scotsport Fanzone is the place to do it."
