Setanta launches Freeview channel

As from this weekend, sports fans can take out a subscription for a new Setanta Sports Freeview channel which will cost just £10.99 a month.

Setanta Sports is no longer available on a pay-per-view basis on a Freeview box but an ehanced service is on offer.

A Setanta spokesperson said: "This is a great deal for the viewer. For only £10.99 a month (an Old Firm game cost £10 on pay-per-view) they will get a seven-day sports channel which will include 60 live Bank of Scotland Premierleague games every season, United States PGA tour, live Magners League rugby and top live action from the cream of Europe's football leagues."



"And, come the start of the Premiership in England next season, they will be able to access exclusive live coverage of 46 games."

To watch the Setanta Sports channel on your Freeview box you MUST have a box with a viewing card slot and a viewing card.
