Scottish League 2 side East Stirlingshire are joining up with the charity MND Scotland to promote awareness of Motor Neurone Disease and to help raise funds for the work the charity does.
The Shire worked with Parkinson’s UK this season in a first-ever tie up between the club and a charity and they have now opted to have a charity partner every season.
Chairman Tony Ford said: “The link was inspired by the work done by our Honorary President, Robert Jack and his wife, Norma, who have worked hard as volunteer fundraisers and organisers for MND Scotland in the Falkirk area.
“Motor Neurone Disease has been highlighted in Scotland due to former Celtic winger Jimmy Johnstone and ex-Rangers player Fernando Ricksen and we would like to play our part as well.”
