Cowdenbeath fans from Afghanistan, Canada and the United States have taken the club up on the offer of buying official IRN-BRU league footballs that have been signed by Player/ Manager Colin Cameron and the playing squad that have taken the Blue Brazil to the brink of the Second Division title.
The Fife side have put a limited number of signed balls on sale for £50 and overseas fans have been amongst the first to become the proud owners of a special piece of club memorabilia.
A Club spokesperson said, “This season has been a memorable one and one more win in our closing three games would see us clinch the Second Division title and a place back in the First Division at the first attempt.”
“We now have limited number of signed balls available for just £50 and they are being sold on a first come, first served basis. The profits made from the sale of each ball will be reinvested into the squad for next season and we are keeping our fingers crossed it will be First Division Football.”
