Ayr United look set to be without midfield goal-grabber David Sinclair for the next couple of months after his ankle injury was discovered to be worse than first feared.
The summer signing from Livingston has been a driving force for the Honest Men this season and his chipped in with 8 goals, however manager Mark Roberts will have to do without him for the next few weeks.
Roberts explained, “We thought David would be okay after a short period out and played him in a reserve game last week but the injury is worse than we first thought. It is a real shame as he has been great for us but we will just have to get on with things.”
