Smith on comeback trail for Stirling

Forthbank defender off crutches and stepping things up

Stirling Albion defender Chris Smith has started working on his comeback after undergoing knee surgery with manager Greig McDonald hoping that he will be back next month.

The 25-year-old former Rangers, Dumbarton, Morton, Ayr and Falkirk stopper has been out of action since a game against East Stirling in November however he has now started working towards a playing comeback.

McDonald said: “Chris is now off his crutches and doing some work on an exercise bike. We will step things up with him every week and hopefully we can get him back in March.”
