There are six teams in each group - they play each other once for a total of five matches. The top two from each section progress to the semi-finals.
Group 1
Dundee defeated Hibernian 4-0 at the Hibs Training Centre in their opening match on Tuesday afternoon, with Niall McGinn scoring twice for the Dark Blues. Last week, there were 2-1 wins for Dundee United against Queen's Park and Dunfermline Athletic against Livingston.
Group 2
Steven Warnock grabbed a hat-trick to help Kilmarnock to a 4-0 victory against Partick Thistle at Rugby Park on Tuesday while Queen of the South defeated Hamilton Accies 3-1 at New Douglas Park. Ayr United and Motherwell drew 3-3 in their match in Cumnock, with the Honest Men picking up the bonus point in the penalty shoot-out.
