Third-placed Alloa Athletic beat bottom club Kelty Hearts 2-1 at the Indodrill Stadium. Hamilton Accies saw off East Fife 3-0 at Bayview and Cove Rangers beat Peterhead 2-1 at Balmoral Stadium.
East Kilbride moved five points clear in William Hill League 2 thanks to a 3-0 win over Elgin City at K-Park while title rivals The Spartans went down 3-0 at Dumbarton. Bottom club Edinburgh City dismissed Stranraer 4-1 at Meadowbank Stadium while Stirling Albion recovered from three goals down to draw 3-3 with Annan Athletic at Galabank. Forfar Athletic and third-placed Clyde drew 1-1 at Station Park.
