Thistle held | ICT increase lead | Wins for East Kilbride & Spartans

St Johnstone will have the chance to clinch the William Hil Championship title at Dunfermline on Tuesday night after second-placed Partick Thistle drew 2-2 away to Airdrieonians on Saturday. The Diamonds stay ninth but are just a point ahead of Ross County, who beat Ayr United 2-1 in Dingwall. Arbroath are up to third place thanks to a 2-1 home victory over Raith Rovers. Morton and Queen's Park drew 0-0 at Cappielow as the visitors ensured their Championship status for another year.

Inverness CT are now four points clear in William Hill League 1 after a 1-0 home win over bottom club Kelty Hearts while title rivals Stenhousemuir went down 2-0 to Cove Rangers at Balmoral Stadium. Alloa Athletic are assured of a play-off place after beating East Fife 2-0 at the Indodrill Stadium and Queen of the South also secured a top-four finish with a 1-1 draw at Peterhead. Hamilton Accies stay ninth but earned an important 2-0 win at Montrose.

East Kilbride saw off bottom club Edinburgh City 4-0 at K-Park to stay a point clear in the William Hill League 2 title race. Second-placed Spartans won 2-0 away to Annan Athletic while Clyde, in third, claimed a 2-0 home win over Dumbarton. Forfar Athletic are in fourth spot thanks to a 1-0 triumph over play-off rivals Stranraer at Stair Park while Elgin City’s top-four hopes were dented by a 2-2 draw with Stirling Albion at Forthbank.
