Hearts extend lead | Arbroath beat St Johnstone

Claudio Braga scored twice as Heart of Midlothian won 3-0 at Kilmarnock to move five points clear at the top of the William Hill Premiership. Hibernian saw off Livingston 4-0 at Easter Road to go third while Rangers and Dundee United drew 2-2 at Ibrox. Aberdeen moved off the bottom of the table with a 1-0 win away to St Mirren thanks to a superb stoppage-time goal from Marko Lazetic. Falkirk leapfrogged Motherwell with a 2-1 success at Fir Park. Dundee host Celtic on Sunday, live on Sky Sports at 12 noon.

Third-placed Arbroath beat William Hill Championship leaders St Johnstone 3-1 at Gayfield. Partick Thistle defeated Ross County 1-0 at Firhill and are now just three points off the top with a game in hand. Ayr United, in fourth, were 2-1 winners against Morton at Somerset Park. Queen's Park and bottom club Airdrieonians drew 0-0 at Lesser Hampden.

Hamilton Accies remain top of William Hill League 1 after winning 4-0 at Montrose with Stenhousemuir second on goal difference after they beat bottom club Cove Rangers 1-0 at Balmoral Stadium. Peterhead saw off Queen of the South 3-0 at Balmoor while Inverness CT were held to a 2-2 draw by Kelty Hearts. Alloa Athletic and East Fife drew 1-1 at the Indodrill Stadium.

The Spartans won 2-1 at Dumbarton to stay top of William Hill League 2, with East Kilbride three points back following their 3-0 victory over Elgin City at K-Park. Stranraer earned an important 3-1 win away to Edinburgh City while Annan Athletic and Stirling Albion drew 1-1 at Galabank. It was 0-0 between Forfar Athletic and Clyde at Station Park.
