Falkirk ran out 3-0 winners against Dundee United at Tannadice and Motherwell beat Kilmarnock 3-1 at Rugby Park. Celtic beat St Mirren 1-0 in the evening kick-off in Paisley with a 94th-minute goal from Callum McGregor to close the gap at the top to four points. Leaders Heart of Midlothian face Aberdeen at Pittodrie on Sunday, live on Sky Sports, kick-off 3.00pm.

Partick Thistle moved to within three points of William Hill Championship leaders St Johnstone after beating Simo Valakari's side 2-1 at Firhill. Ayr United were 1-0 winners away to bottom club Airdrieonians and Dunfermline Athletic defeated Greenock Morton 1-0 at East End Park. Arbroath and Raith Rovers drew 0-0 at Gayfield.

Inverness CT are three points clear in William Hill League 1 after seeing off Queen of the South 4-0 in the Highland capital while second-placed Stenhousemuir won 4-1 at Peterhead. Stranraer thumped William Hill League 2 leaders Spartans 4-0 at Ainslie Park but East Kilbride missed the chance to go top as they drew 1-1 with Edinburgh City at K-Park.
