United go third | Saints score four | ICT close gap

Dundee United moved up to third place in the William Hill Premiership thanks to a 3-1 win over St Mirren at Tannadice while Falkirk jumped to fourth after beating Dundee 2-1. Motherwell are into the top six thanks to a 2-1 victory at Livingston. Leaders Heart of Midlothian host Celtic at Tynecastle on Sunday, live on Sky Sports at 12 noon. Aberdeen v Hibernian is live on Premier Sports at 2.30pm while Rangers face Kilmarnock at Ibrox. 

St Johnstone are three points clear in the William Hill Championship after winning 4-0 away to Greenock Morton while second-placed Partick Thistle lost 2-0 at Raith Rovers. Ross County beat Dunfermline Athletic 3-2 in Dingwall and bottom club Airdrieonians picked up their first win, defeating Arbroath 1-0 at the Albert Bartlett Stadium. Queen's Park and Ayr United drew 0-0 at Lesser Hampden.

Leaders Stenhousemuir drew 0-0 away to Alloa Athletic so Inverness CT are now just a point behind in the William Hill League 1 title race thanks to a 1-0 triumph at Peterhead. East Fife are up to third after beating Kelty Hearts 3-0 at New Central Park while bottom club Cove Rangers saw off Montrose 3-0 at Links Park to earn their first league win of the season. Queen of the South beat Hamilton Accies 2-1 at Broadwood on Friday night.

There were no games in William Hill League 2 due to the second round of the Scottish Cup.
