At a disciplinary hearing today, Thursday 28 March, a sub-committee of the SPFL Board charged Dundee United FC with playing a suspended player in a cinch Reserve Cup match:
• Tuesday 12 March 2024 – Dundee United Reserves 2-3 Dunfermline Athletic Reserves
Dundee United FC admitted breaching SPFL Rules and were sanctioned as follows:
1. Reprimand and warning as to future conduct
2. A suspended fine of £500
3. The original match result to be annulled and recorded as follows:
Dundee United Reserves 0-3 Dunfermline Athletic Reserves
