The SPFL has today announced the match details for the 2024/25 SPFL Trust Trophy final between Queen’s Park and Livingston.
This season’s final will be played at The Falkirk Stadium on Sunday March 30 and shown live on BBC ALBA with a 4.10pm kick-off.
Falkirk has hosted the previous two SPFL Trust Trophy finals and this year will welcome Livingston for their first final since winning the competition in 2014/15, when they defeated Alloa Athletic 4-0 at McDiarmid Park.
This season’s SPFL Trust Trophy final marks Queen’s Park’s first national cup final for 125 years and therefore their first in this tournament, which began back in 1990/91.
Following agreement between the two competing clubs, the SPFL is pleased to confirm that ticket prices have been frozen from last year’s final. Adult ticket prices will remain at £20, with concession (65+ and students) and juvenile (aged 12-16) tickets priced at £12 and £6 respectively. Under 12s will again be admitted free of charge if accompanied by a paying adult.
SPFL Group Chief Executive Neil Doncaster said: “Firstly, we would like to congratulate both Queen’s Park and Livingston for reaching the final of the SPFL Trust Trophy following their semi-final victories over East Kilbride and Dunfermline Athletic.
“Everyone at the SPFL is hugely looking forward to this season’s final at The Falkirk Stadium, which will conclude the SPFL Trust’s much-valued title sponsorship of this competition – funded by philanthropist James Anderson.
“I would like to thank the SPFL Trust for their support of the competition over the past four seasons and wish them well as they continue to do great work, in partnership with our member clubs, in communities across Scotland.”
SPFL Trust CEO Nicky Reid said: “We’re really looking forward to the SPFL Trust Trophy final this year. The Falkirk Stadium has been a great venue for hosting the last two finals, so we’re delighted to be returning there in March.
“Both Queen’s Park and Livingston have done incredibly well to reach this stage, and I’m sure it’ll be a thrilling match.
“For us, the SPFL Trust Trophy is about more than just football; it’s about celebrating the enormous impact that our clubs and community trusts have throughout Scotland. We’ll use this final as an opportunity to highlight that extraordinary impact.”
The two finalists will announce ticket sale information via their own channels in due course.
