All SPL teams at home this weekend will be playing with their very own personalised Mitre Pro100T ball.

Following the launch of Celtic's exclusive gold ball last weekend, the remaining 11 teams in the league received delivery of their own Club balls this week.

Aberdeen, Kilmarnock, Hearts, Falkirk and St Mirren, will proudly kick off their weekend fixtures with a Mitre Pro100T sporting Club crest and colours. The specialised balls are sure to be a huge hit with players and fans alike.

Mitre Marketing Manager Katrina McCreadie commented: "Mitre is pleased to announce the launch of this new range of footballs for the Bank of Scotland Premierleague.

"We are very proud of our long-standing relationship with Scottish football and we hope the fans will enjoy seeing their team play with their own personalised ball.

"Over one hundred years of expertise enables us to develop the very best balls for the modern game and Mitre continue to lead the way in ball technology."

Lex Gold, Chairman of the Bank of Scotland Premierleague, added: "This is the first time personalised club balls will be used for all home games in any football league in the UK, and we are proud to have worked with Mitre and the clubs to produce the designs for the Pro 100T.

"The addition of a unique, championship winner's gold ball will really raise the stakes and be a reminder to home and away fans of the club's triumph in the previous season."

Mitre's Pro 100T is one of the most technically advanced footballs on the market. The 26-panelled ball offers high performance in all conditions.

It has been specially designed to be faster and more accurate than ever before and can travel at speeds in excess of 100mph.

A super micro fibre surface breaks up airflow evenly over the whole ball allowing it to maintain a top speed for longer.

A CinCap lining system controls and maintains the balls truly round shape, creating a softer ball with a larger sweet spot giving players a unique feel when kicked. A grain finish increases surface grip to help goalkeepers and players at throw-ins. www.mitre.com
