The Scottish Premier League today joins the rest of the football family in remembering the 96 people who lost their lives at the FA Cup semi-final between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest at Hillsborough, Sheffield, on April 15, 1989.
SPL Executive Chairman Lex Gold said: "It is important that we never forget the terrible events of 20 years ago when football suffered one of its darkest days.
"On the 20th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster our thoughts are with those who lost friends and family in the tragedy."
