Inverness CT striker Billy McKay and Motherwell hitman Michael Higdon are in pole position to win the SPL Golden Boot with seven fixture rounds of the season remaining.

Both players have netted 20 goals in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League, with Hibernian's Leigh Griffiths just one behind. Last season's top scorer Gary Hooper of Celtic is on 16 goals, as is Aberdeen forward Niall McGinn.
