Stirling Albion are letting all fans in for free when they host Elgin City at Forthbank on Tuesday, March 11 in a rearranged League 2 fixture.
The original game was called off just 15 minutes before kick-off on Saturday December 14 and, rather than asking for payment at the gate, Stirling are asking fans to make a donation to the Club’s Charity Partner, the John Hartson Foundation.
Operations Director Stuart Brown said: “There is no minimum amount required to gain entry as the club are simply asking everyone to give what they can reasonably afford to John Hartson’s charity.
“The charity is dedicated to raising awareness of, and funds to support those affected by, testicular cancer. I am delighted we are able to dedicate this fixture to raising funds for the Foundation and I would encourage everyone to come along to add their support.
“We also appreciate that our season ticket holders and those holding vouchers from the postponed game in December are already entitled to free admission. We trust they will understand and accept the thinking behind the Executive Board’s decision.”
