Stirling Albion have won the cinch League 2 title after a 3-1 win over Annan Athletic.
Darren Young's side secured promotion to cinch League 1 after a thrilling encounter at Forthbank, where the Binos came from a goal behind to win and clinch the title with two games to spare.
Neil Doncaster, chief executive of the SPFL, said: “Stirling Albion deserve huge credit after winning cinch League 2 – their first SPFL title and first trophy since season 2009/10.
“The club has now been unbeaten in the League for an impressive 18 matches and have seized control of the title race in recent weeks.
“Stirling Albion have also scored the most, and conceded the least, across the whole division this season.
“I know this will be a special evening for everyone connected with the club, and on behalf of the SPFL I would like to congratulate their fans, players, management team and directors on this achievement.
“We now look forward to an exciting end to the rest of the cinch League 2 season, with the final play-off places still up for grabs, and the battle to avoid finishing 10th yet to be decided.”
