Wins for St Mirren, Hibernian and Raith Rovers

St Mirren earned their first win of the season in the cinch Premiership, beating Aberdeen 3-2 in Paisley this afternoon.

Connor Ronan, on loan from Wolves, grabbed a double for the Buddies and Curtis Main scored what proved to be the winner. Scott Brown and Christian Ramirez netted for the Dons, who led 2-1 when Teddy Jenks was sent off.

Hibernian moved to within a point of leaders Rangers after beating St Johnstone 1-0 at Easter Road. Martin Boyle scored the only goal from the penalty spot in 61 minutes and Saints later had Jamie McCart sent off.

Celtic and Dundee United drew 1-1 at Celtic Park. Liel Abada gave the Hoops a 16th-minute lead but Ian Harkes equalised just two minutes later.

In the cinch Championship, Raith Rovers moved into the top four with a 3-2 win over Partick Thistle at Stark's Park, helped by a double from Kyle Benedictus.
