Rangers beat Aberdeen 2-0 at Ibrox in the Ladbrokes Premiership on Sunday afternoon thanks to a pair of second-half penalties from James Tavernier, the clincher coming after the Dons had Andrew Considine sent off.
Celtic would have been crowned champions if Rangers had slipped up but they still require one point from their final three matches to get over the line.
Hibernian and Hearts drew 1-1 at Easter Road earlier in the day. Marc McNulty missed a penalty for Hibs but they took the lead through a Christophe Berra own goal after 69 minutes, only for Uche Ikpeazu to grab a late equaliser for the visitors.
