GK - Zdenek Zlamal (Heart of Midlothian)
The Czech goalkeeper was undoubtedly the difference on Saturday as Hearts defeated Dunfermline 1-0 to advance to the quarter-finals of the Betfred Cup. His performance included a point-blank save in the dying seconds at East End Park to preserve the win.
DRC - Cristian Gamboa (Celtic)
Two assists from the speedy right-back helped Celtic reach the last eight of the Betfred Cup as Brendan Rodgers' men defeated Partick Thistle 3-1 at The Energy Check Stadium at Firhill.
DC - Pat Scullion (Cowdenbeath)
The defender scored and impressed at the heart of the defence as the Blue Brazil thumped Berwick Rangers 4-0. It was an emphatic way for Gary Bollan's side to get their first victory of the League 2 campaign.
DLC - Jason Brown (Peterhead)
Peterhead emerged victorious over title rivals Clyde thanks to a goal from Rory McAllister. However, we cannot overlook the contribution from the home defence, with Brown managing to do what very few defenders in the bottom tier have managed in recent seasons - keeping David Goodwillie quiet.
MR - Gary Mackay-Steven (Aberdeen)
Two goals amid an ‘unplayable’ performance from the winger helped Aberdeen into the quarter-finals of the Betfred Cup. The host blew away St Mirren in a rampant first-half display and the Dons eventually ran out 4-0 winners.
MC - Paul Watson (Montrose)
The midfielder was a vitally disruptive presence at the heart of the Montrose team as they took the bragging rights from an Angus derby victory over Brechin City. The hosts were forced to work for their 2-1 defeat as they endured a nervy second half but Watson's hard-tackling helped them see it through.
MC - Ryan Conroy (Airdrieonians)
Two goals for the experienced midfielder was enough for Airdrie to take all three points from their trip to Stenhousemuir. What made the 2-1 victory all the more impressive was that they achieved it despite being down to 10 men for 77 minutes after an early red card for Scott Robertson.
ML - Daryl Horgan (Hibernian)
A goal and an assist - not a bad home debut for the attacking midfielder signed from Preston. In addition to his injury-time winner, which saw Hibs through 3-2 in the Betfred Cup at Ross County's expense, his overall play excited the home fans.
FC - Alfredo Morelos (Rangers)
This week’s star man. Morelos was incredible in Rangers' 3-1 last-16 victory over Kilmarnock. He tormented the Killie defenders throughout the match and netted all three of his team's goals.
FC - Tony Watt (St Johnstone)
Saints fans are infatuated with the former Hearts and Celtic striker and it's easy to see why. Watt struck twice and put in a stellar display as Tommy Wright's men managed to outlast Queen of the South with a 4-2 victory after extra time at Palmerston.
FC - Lawrence Shankland (Ayr United)
If anyone was wondering whether Shankland could shine in the top flight, they got their answer on Saturday as the striker netted twice in Ayr's stunning 3-0 upset away to Premiership side Dundee in the Betfred Cup, taking his tally for the season to an incredible 11 goals.
