GK - Neil Parry (Alloa Athletic)
We've plumped for Alloa's experienced shot-stopper as his penalty shoot-out save from Aidan Connolly saw the Wasps advance at the expense of Dunfermline into the last eight of the IRN-BRU Cup.
DC - Ross Dunlop (East Fife)
East Fife managed to keep a clean sheet this past weekend. In isolation, that may not seem particularly impressive but they did it against Stephen Dobbie and Queen of the South, a team from the league above and a striker who's been scoring for fun. Of the two centre-backs we've gone for Dunlop over his equally impressive partner Daryll Meggatt.
DC – Jon Paul McGovern (Elgin City)
The career midfielder dropped back into defence and performed very well as Elgin defeated Cowdenbeath 3-1 at Borough Briggs in Ladbrokes League 2.
DC - Christian Mbulu (Motherwell Colts)
The centre-back excelled as Motherwell's youngsters defeated Sligo Rovers to advance to the quarter-finals of the IRN-BRU Cup. The summer signing scored in the 2-0 victory and his display at the back must surely push him into the thoughts of manager Stephen Robinson.
MR - Louis Longridge (Dunfermline Athletic)
The attacker recovered from a poor pass which led to Alloa's opener to put Dunfermline firmly in the driving seat during their last 16 clash. Longridge netted twice but it wasn't enough for victory as Alloa equalised and won on penalties.
MC - Sam Stanton (Dundee United)
Stanton was able to make a strong first impression at the heart of the Dundee United midfield as Robbie Neilson won his first game in charge, downing Partick Thistle 2-1 in Glasgow.
MC - David Turnbull (Motherwell Colts)
While Mbulu impressed and got himself on the scoresheet, it was 19-year-old Turnbull who ran the show in Motherwell's victory over Sligo Rovers.
ML - Davis Keillor-Dunn (Ross County)
Coming in from the cold, the elusive winger made the most of his opportunity to score twice as County defeated Montrose 3-1 to reach the quarter-finals.
FR - Alan Trouten (Alloa Athletic)
Longridge was not the hero of the hour at East End Park thanks to this man. Trouten continued his excellent form in cup competitions this term (six goals in seven games) to net twice against the Pars, including the goal which would eventually lead to penalty kicks and Parry's heroics.
FC - Blair Henderson (Edinburgh City)
The forward is in tremendous form this season and showed his qualities as City outplayed Arbroath on Friday night, despite the divisional gap and the Red Lichties' home advantage. He netted twice from the penalty spot, one of which he won, and managed to set up another in the 4-1 triumph. He is this week's star man.
FL - Scott McLean (Queen's Park)
The winger found the back of the net twice as the Spiders shook off a couple of scares to eventually beat St Mirren Colts in a thrilling 4-2 win in Paisley.
