Team of the Week

Craig Fowler selects his SPFL Team of the Week, with hat-trick hero Lewis Vaughan of Raith Rovers the star man...

GK - Scott Bain (Celtic)
The Celtic keeper made five - count 'em, FIVE - saves in as many seconds during the first half of his side's 3-0 Scottish Cup victory over Airdrieonians. Yes, the hosts likely would have won anyway, but with the score still at 1-0 it certainly made life easier for Brendan Rodgers' men.

DC - Stuart Findlay (Kilmarnock)
The centre-back netted a terrific goal, rifling into the back of the net, to help his side defeat Forfar Athletic 2-0 at Rugby Park and advance into the next round.

DC - Christophe Berra (Heart of Midlothian)
Sean Clare's winner was enough for Hearts to progress at the expense of Livingston as the home defence, marshalled by Berra, remained firm in the face of some late pressure.

DC - Jason Kerr (St Johnstone)
The defender strolled through proceedings as St Johnstone booked their place in the last 16 with relative ease, beating Hamilton Accies 2-0 at McDiarmid Park.

MR - Aaron Doran (Inverness CT)
Doran was excellent against Lowland League side East Kilbride as John Robertson's men ended any hopes of a shock by racing into a 3-0 lead before the break. The winger scored once and assisted two others in the 4-0 rout.

MC - Stuart Bannigan (Partick Thistle)
The midfielder shone in the centre of the park as Partick Thistle comfortably defeated Stranraer 4-1 in the end despite a determined display by the Blues.

MC - Sean Dickson (Stenhousemuir)
Stenhousemuir secured one of the best results of the round as they went to the home of Aberdeen and fought out a 1-1 draw. Everyone was excellent in the away ranks, but Dickson stood out for his hard-working display in midfield.

MC - Nicky Low (Queen of the South)
The former Dundee man returned to his former club and bossed Dens Park pair Paul McGowan and Martin Woods as Queen of the South cursed their inability to kill the tie off. Still, having secured a more than deserved 1-1 draw away from home, they'll fancy their chances in the replay.

ML - Daryl Horgan (Hibernian)
Two goals from the winger helped Hibs see off Elgin City with ease at Easter Road. Neil Lennon's side led 3-0 at half-time and Horgan rounded off the scoring with his second goal after the break.

FC - Lewis Vaughan (Raith Rovers)
Rovers earned local bragging rights with a 3-0 victory at Stark's Park that knocked rivals Dunfermline out of the Scottish Cup. The hero of the hour was Vaughan, who grabbed a late hat-trick to see his team through in style.

FC - Brian Graham (Ross County)
In addition to his double, Graham led the line superbly as Ross County went to Motherwell, a team a division above, and left with a fully-deserved 2-1 win.
