Team of the Week

A View From the Terrace's Craig Fowler selects his SPFL Team of the Week, with Queen of the South striker Stephen Dobbie the star man for his first-half hat-trick...

GK - Ofir Marciano (Hibernian)
There wasn't too much to pick from in the goalkeeping department this week so we've gone for a player on a losing team. Despite his side going down 1-0 to Kilmarnock, the Israeli shot-stopper kept Hibs in the match for the full 90 minutes with a couple of impressive saves.

DC - Coll Donaldson (Inverness CT)
Another strong showing from the centre-back, who has enjoyed a terrific season, helped Inverness see out their Ladbrokes Premiership play-off quarter-final advantage against Ayr United, drawing 1-1 in the Highlands after winning the first leg 3-1.

DC - Tom Lang (Clyde)
The young centre-back was in imperious form as Clyde wrapped up their place in the Ladbrokes League 1 play-off final, defeating Edinburgh City 3-0 at Broadwood for a 4-0 aggregate win.

DC - Steven Swinglehurst (Annan Athletic)
The centre-back dominated in the air and grabbed the winner as Annan Athletic relegated Stenhousemuir with a 2-1 victory at Ochilview (4-1 on aggregate) and put themselves into the League 1 play-off final against Clyde.

MR - Michael O'Halloran (St Johnstone)
The flying winger looked back to his old self on Saturday as Saints comfortably defeated Motherwell at McDiarmid Park, winning the Ladbrokes Premiership clash 2-0.

MC - Scott Arfield (Rangers)
Rangers came out on top in the final Old Firm clash of the season with a 2-0 victory at Ibrox. Arfield was both industrious in the middle and an attacking menace, including netting the second goal.

MC - Stephen McGinn (St Mirren)
McGinn picked the ideal time to have one of his best games of the season as he helped run things in the middle of the park on Monday night as St Mirren picked up an all-important 2-0 win over Hamilton Accies to stay alive in the relegation battle.

MC - Ross Matthews (Raith Rovers)
Matthews led by example in midfield as Rovers drew 1-1 with Forfar Athletic at Station Park for a 3-2 aggregate win to reach the Ladbrokes Championship play-off final.

ML - Greg Taylor (Kilmarnock)
Kilmarnock are now just a victory away from finishing in the top three for the first time in over half a century thanks to their 1-0 win over Hibs. Taylor was the home side's top performer.

FC - Stephen Dobbie (Queen of the South)
Queens thumped Montrose 5-0 to set up a Championship play-off final against Raith Rovers. The return of Dobbie, who had been injured of late, was the catalyst for the win as he grabbed a hat-trick. Not for the first time, and probably not the last, he is this week's star man!

FC - James Wilson (Aberdeen)
Wilson provided two assists on Friday night as Aberdeen beat Hearts 2-1 to take the race for third place and a Europa League qualifying spot down to the final day.
