GK - Jak Alnwick (St Mirren)
OK, I know what you're thinking: 'he conceded three goals, how can he be the best keeper?' Well, it's for two reasons. Firstly, goalkeepers can still play well if they're making saves they needn't necessarily be expected to make and not at fault for the goals they concede, which was the case with Alnwick against his former club Rangers. And secondly, there were no stand-out candidates across the five games.
DRC - Mark Connolly (Dundee United)
After an error in the build-up to St Johnstone's equaliser last week, the centre-back helped make up for it with a towering performance in United's first win back in the top flight, a 1-0 victory at Motherwell.
DC - Mark Reynolds (Dundee United)
United's victory was secured thanks to a second-half goal from Connolly's centre-back partner Reynolds. Not only did the former Aberdeen man net the winner, he also impressed throughout the match.
DLC - Borna Barisic (Rangers)
The defender's crossing skills were on show on Sunday as he continually got down the flank to deliver dangerous crosses for his team-mates, including an assist for Alfredo Morelos for the third goal.
MR - Daryl Horgan (Hibernian)
Two assists from the winger, making a surprise start after Jack Ross decided to leave out Scott Allan and move his side into a 4-4-2 shape, helped Hibs overcome Livingston at the Tony Macaroni Arena.
MC - Joe Newell (Hibernian)
Another quietly impressive showing from the centre-midfielder, who is hitting the ground running this campaign after being deployed in his natural position, was another factor in Hibs beating the Lions 4-1 on Saturday.
MC - Harry Paton (Ross County)
Playing in the No 10 role behind striker Billy Mckay, the former Hearts player continually found space between Accies' defence and midfield and performed a key role in the 1-0 win for the away side.
ML - Ross Stewart (Ross Stewart)
Yet again the most impressive Staggies’ star was Stewart. The attacker made a series of positive contributions and put in a terrific defensive shift to stifle the runs of Hakeem Odoffin at the other end.
FC - Kevin Nisbet (Hibernian)
A hat-trick from the new signing was the main catalyst behind Hibs' 4-1 triumph in West Lothian. Opposing strikers found it almost impossible to net away to Livingston last term - they only conceded eight all season - which just goes to show how impressive a performance this was from Nisbet. For his trio of goals, he is this week's star man.
FC - Alfredo Morelos (Rangers)
The Colombian created one goal and scored two more as Rangers made it two wins out of two with a 3-0 victory over St Mirren at Ibrox.
FC - Nicke Kabamba (Kilmarnock)
He didn't get on the scoresheet, but Kabamba's dominant display against Celtic's back-line made a huge contribution to Killie holding the champions to a draw at Rugby Park, including winning the penalty from which Chris Burke equalised.
