GK - Allan McGregor (Rangers)
Jak Alnwick and Trevor Carson made terrific saves this past weekend, while Ofir Marciano made a few strong ones, but they all ended up on the losing side. McGregor certainly didn't, and while he may not have kept a clean sheet, he certainly deserved to after pulling off a miraculous finger-tip stop to keep out Mark O'Hara's free-kick. And, true to the raging competitor he is, he then protested to the referee that he didn't touch it as he didn't want Motherwell to have a corner!
DC - James Tavernier (Rangers)
Yes, his two goals were penalties, but aside from that Tavernier was very impressive in Rangers' 5-1 win at Motherwell as his surging runs down the flank were a constant threat.
DC - Kirk Broadfoot (Kilmarnock)
The centre-back returned to his former club and strolled through proceedings as Killie defeated St Mirren 1-0 in Paisley on Saturday.
DC - Ross McCrorie (Aberdeen)
Due to a lack of stand-out defensive performances, we're inserted Mr McCrorie into this back three despite putting in another masterful display in the centre of the park as Aberdeen thumped Ross County 3-0 on Sunday.
MR - Jeremie Frimpong (Celtic)
The young defender was inserted back into the starting XI for the visit of Hibs and kept up the form he showed away to Riga in midweek with another strong display.
MC - Scott Brown (Celtic)
The veteran silenced his critics and earned praise from his manager with a positive performance in the 3-0 victory over Hibs. Brown was always looking to drive the play forward while his defensive nous was key against a side who looked to attack Neil Lennon's men.
MC - Scott Arfield (Rangers)
Arfield continued an impressive month with two assists in Rangers' 5-1 win at Motherwell on Sunday, which kept Steven Gerrard’s side at the top of the table.
MC - Marvin Bartley (Livingston)
The Livingston captain was back to his commanding best in the centre of the park as the Lions defeated St Johnstone 2-0 in West Lothian. He also contributed to the attack with a ranging run that led to the second goal.
ML - Jonny Hayes (Aberdeen)
Hayes was excellent bombing up and down the left flank as Aberdeen ran all over Ross County in Dingwall. He certainly seems to be adapting well to his new role at wing-back.
FC - Scott Tiffoney (Livingston)
A goal and an assist from the former Morton player helped Livingston to a much-needed victory as Gary Holt's men climbed off the bottom of the table. Tiffoney didn't just provide the end product - his work leading the line was solid throughout as the ball consistently stuck in St Johnstone's half. He is this week's Star Man!
FC - David Templeton (Hamilton Accies)
If Hamilton were going to get anything out of their clash with Dundee United then Templeton was always going to be involved. This ultimately proved to be the case when the attacker swung in the cross for Hakeem Odoffin to score the equaliser in the 1-1 draw.
