Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View From the Terrace names his Team of the Week, with Rangers midfielder Joe Aribo the star man

GK - Ross Laidlaw (Ross County)
The keeper made a couple of fine stops, including a late, game-clinching save from Mohamed Elyounoussi, to preserve County's 1-0 victory over Celtic - a result that moved them off the bottom of the table.

DC - Ross McCrorie (Aberdeen)
The centre midfielder - who we've moved into his second position due to lack of options - had his most influential game in months as he helped Aberdeen to a 1-0 victory over Kilmarnock.

DC - Ayo Obileye (Queen of the South)
The Englishman excelled in the centre of the park (see above) and netted from the penalty spot during Queens' 3-2 victory over Dundee in the Scottish Championship. The result moved Allan Johnston's side into the top four.

DC - Josh Doig (Hibernian)
Filling out this midfield-heavy back three is Hibernian's rampaging wing-back from the past weekend. The teenager attacked the left flank with gusto throughout the game and got his reward with a header for his side's second goal against Hamilton.

MR - Martin Boyle (Hibernian)
Doig isn't the only Hibs player to make the team as Boyle similarly impressed in the 2-0 win over 10-man Hamilton Accies. The Australian international got things started with a lovely, curled goal before providing the cross for Doig to score his.

MC - Joe Aribo (Rangers)
A top-class performance from the midfielder was the inspiration behind Rangers' 4-1 victory over Dundee United on Sunday as Steven Gerrard's men moved closer to the title. The Nigerian international not only dazzled with his play on the ball, he also scored an excellent goal and is this week's star man.

MC - David Carson (Inverness CT)
Due to a combination of form and dreadful luck with weather, Saturday's 2-0 victory at Ayr United was the first win Inverness have enjoyed since early December. It was a welcome result as they moved above their hosts and out of the bottom two. Carson was the consensus man of the match.

ML - Liam Craig (St Johnstone)
Playing in the centre of the park in Saints' 3-0 away win to Motherwell, Craig caught the eye above the majority of his peers as he helped give the visitors the foundation on which to earn victory.

FC - Craig Wighton (Dunfermline Athletic)
A dream Dunfermline debut for the former Dundee man as Wighton's double downed Alloa Athletic at East End Park. It was the attacker's first appearance since moving from Hearts and helped take his new side back into second place in the table behind the men from Gorgie.

FC - Guy Melamed (St Johnstone)
Two goals, including one from the penalty spot, and excellent link-up play with strike partner Chris Kane, enabled the Israeli striker to be the star man as Saints defeated Motherwell 3-0 at Fir Park.

FC - Jordan White (Ross County)
The home hero of Sunday evening. White was a menace to Celtic all game long with his aerial prowess and took advantage of some slack marking to nod home the winner.
