Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View From the Terrace names his Team of the Week, with Kilmarnock striker Kyle Lafferty the star man...

GK - Allan McGregor (Rangers)
The Rangers keeper was in top form again on Sunday, limiting Celtic to one goal despite a steady peppering of his goal and preserving his side's unbeaten record in the league with a 1-1 draw at Parkhead.

DC - Lee Ashcroft (Dundee)
The defender scored twice and was strong at the back as Dundee bounced back from a midweek defeat with a 3-0 thumping of Alloa Athletic on Friday.

DC - Andy Munro (Forfar Athletic)
Showing leadership from the back, Munro's communication and experience was vital in Forfar getting all three points on the defender's second debut away to Dumbarton following his departure from Stenhousemuir earlier this season.

DC - Mark Durnan (Falkirk)
Falkirk weren’t always convincing in their 2-0 home win over Montrose as the visitors controlled a lot of the midfield. They did not, however, create too many chances with the home rearguard keeping them at bay. Not only did Durnan play well in defence, he also scored the opener.

MR - Darren Hynes (Morton)
The 22-year-old made his first appearance for the Ton in almost three years and managed to put in a man-of-the-match performance getting up and down the flank from wing-back as Gus MacPherson's team defeated Queen of the South 2-1 in the Scottish Championship.

MC - Liam Craig (St Johnstone)
St Johnstone booked a spot in the top six with some last-gasp drama in the Scottish Premiership. Glenn Middleton may have fired in the crucial winner (which along with Accies' late equaliser saw Saints jump above St Mirren) but it was Craig who was the stand-out player in the centre of the park.

MC - Luca Connell (Queen's Park)
The Celtic loanee got himself a lovely assist on his debut for the League 2 leaders, who were playing what could well have been their last ever match at Hampden Park. Connell sparkled during the 3-0 victory over Stranraer.

MC - David Hopkirk (Stenhousemuir)
Hopkirk hadn't played since October, due to a combination of injury and the season suspension, but it certainly didn't look like it in Stenny's 2-0 victory over Albion Rovers as he turned in a man-of-the-match display.

ML - Adrian Sporle (Dundee United)
Scorer of the only goal as United defeated Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership, the Argentine also continued his strong form on the left side of the Terrors' front three.

FC - Kyle Lafferty (Kilmarnock)
If Lafferty's goals keep Kilmarnock up then what a signing he'll be. The ex-Rangers and Hearts attacker scored the opener, indirectly set up the second and put Mitch Pinnock through for the last goal in Killie's much-needed 4-1 win over Motherwell. That result should be a tremendous boost to confidence as it lifts the Ayrshire side off the bottom. He is this week’s star man.

FC - Nathan Austin (East Fife)
The East Fife favourite returned to his old club at the weekend and got things off to a flyer with the opening goal against Clyde as Darren Young's men ran out 3-1 winners in Cumbernauld.
