Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View From the Terrace names his SPFL Team of the Week, with Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos the star man

GK - Brett Long (Peterhead)
The Belfast-born custodian made a number of key saves to preserve a clean sheet and a 0-0 draw as Falkirk were left frustrated at Balmoor.

DEF - Shay Logan (Cove Rangers)
The veteran full-back walked away with the man-of-the-match award after Cove saw off Clyde 3-0 to move joint-top of cinch League 1.

DEF - Carl Starfelt (Celtic)

The summer signing is starting to come on to a game after a tough introduction to his Celtic career and was one of the stand-outs as Ange Postecoglou's men kept up their recent winning streak with a 2-0 home victory over St Johnstone.

DEF - Mark Connolly (Dunfermline Athletic)
Dunfermline are still seeking that elusive first league win but avoided defeat from a tricky cinch Championship trip to Partick Thistle. Connolly's influence at the back was important in Peter Grant's side recording a 0-0 draw, which means they remain two points from safety.

DEF - Scott McMann (Dundee United)
McMann is proving quite the signing after being brought in from Hamilton Accies towards the end of the transfer window. The left-back excelled again in the 2-1 win over Motherwell, which moved Thomas Courts' side into a tie for second place in the cinch Premiership table.

MID - Joseph Hungbo (Ross County)
A rarity here in Team of the Week with a player from a losing team included. That's because Hungbo and fellow winger Regan Charles-Cook excelled, helping their side score twice, but it wasn't enough as Malky Mackay's men went down 3-2 to Livingston.

MID - Cammy F Ballantyne (Montrose)
The Mo announced the return of the St Johnstone loanee with another epic social-media reveal, and the player himself showed why he was worth the hype with three assists in a 4-1 win over East Fife.

MID - Kevin Cawley (Alloa Athletic)
Barry Ferguson's men pulled off the shock of the weekend in cinch League 1, with two Euan Henderson goals right at the end earning the Wasps all three points from a terrific 4-3 victory at leaders Queen's Park. Henderson was a second-half substitute, so we've opted instead for long-term Alloa man Cawley, who excelled throughout and scored in the first minute.

MID - Scott Brown (Aberdeen)
Aberdeen got back to winning ways after 10 matches without victory, beating Hibs 1-0 at Pittodrie thanks to a first-half Christian Ramirez strike. They also received an excellent performance from their captain, who really pushed the play from the centre of the park before having to go back and do a solid job of covering at centre-back once injury forced Declan Gallagher from the field.

MID - Aidan Connolly (Raith Rovers)
Raith earned a point against table-topping Inverness CT despite playing the second half with 10 men. Connolly got the goal and was the home side's star player in the 1-1 draw at Stark's Park.

FWD - Alfredo Morelos (Rangers)
The Ibrox hero got his 100th goal for the club and netted the winning goal in the process as Steven Gerrard's side came from a goal down to defeat St Mirren 2-1 in Paisley on Sunday. For reaching that landmark, we've gone with the box-office Colombian for this week's star man.
