Team of the Week

CRAIG FOWLER FROM A VIEW FROM THE TERRACE NAMES HIS SPFL TEAM OF THE WEEK, WITH QUEEN OF THE SOUTH'S CONNOR MURRAY THE STAR MAN...

GK - Ross Stewart (Heart of Midlothian)
The much-changed visitors put up a decent fight in the 2-0 defeat at Celtic Park. Stewart made a couple of eye-catching saves in the second half to keep his team in it before Celtic wrapped up the points late on.

DEF - Cameron Carter-Vickers (Celtic)
Just the Celtic defender being typically rock solid and helping his side to victory over Robbie Neilson's men. Is Carter-Vickers the most consistent defender in the cinch Premiership?

DEF - Frankie Musonda (Ayr United)
Ayr are now top of the Championship table after the 2-1 win at Cove Rangers. Musonda, as any Raith fan would tell you, has been an astute signing and impressed in the victory in Aberdeen.

DEF - Kerr Waddell (Montrose)
Montrose got their first victory of the season at the weekend, beating Clyde 2-1. Waddell netted the winner and impressed in defence.

MID - Charlie Reilly (Albion Rovers)
Played as a forward at the weekend, due to the lack of options up top, Reilly got the winning goal and terrorised the opposing defence with his impressive dribbling as Albion Rovers got off the mark with a win against previously undefeated Bonnyrigg Rose.

MID - Grant Savoury (Queen's Park)
Arbroath's disappointing start to the season continued as Queen's Park kept Dick Campbell's side bottom of the table with a 2-1 win at Gayfield. Savoury was the star in midfield and set up what proved to be the winning goal.

MID - Connor Murray (Queen of the South)
Savoury may have shone, but he's not the star man of this team. That honour goes to the Doonhamers' Murray, who netted twice in the 4-1 win up at Peterhead - a result which saw them find victory in the third tier at the fourth time of asking.

MID - Leighton Clarkson (Aberdeen)
The loanee impressed in the centre of the park and scored another terrific goal as Aberdeen defeated St Johnstone to bounce back from the previous weekend's humbling at home to Motherwell.

MID - Josh Campbell (Hibernian)
Hibs managed to rescue a point against Rangers in the dying seconds on Saturday. Sure, the Ibrox men were down to nine players after a pair of red cards, but there's no taking away from the quality of Campbell's equaliser as it flew in from 25 yards. He was also the most impressive Hibee on the day.

FWD - Curtis Main (St. Mirren)
Two goals from the striker helped St Mirren to probably the most eye-catching result in the top flight last weekend as Stephen Robinson's side went to Dundee United and thumped the hosts 3-0.

FWD - Brian Graham (Partick Thistle)
Another man with a brace, Graham netted twice on Friday night to put Inverness CT to the sword as the visitors were well beaten 4-1 in the jaggy plant derby.
