Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View From the Terrace names his Team of the Week, with Hibs striker Kevin Nisbet the star man...

GK - Mark Birighitti (Dundee United)
The Aussie goalkeeper came up with a couple of big saves as United won their second game in succession to move off the bottom of the cinch Premiership table with a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over Motherwell.

DR - Michael Doyle (Alloa Athletic)
Conor Sammon was the hero as Alloa got themselves a massive three points which looks to have all but wrapped up a play-off place in cinch League 1 thanks to his last-minute goal. However, right-back Doyle was their star man across the 90 minutes at Kelty Hearts.

DC - Mattie Pollock (Aberdeen)
What a signing the January loanee from Watford has turned out to be. Aberdeen won their sixth match on the bounce with a 1-0 victory at Ross County on Friday night as Pollock played an influential role in repelling the home side.

DC - Thomas O’Brien (Arbroath)
Arbroath got themselves what could prove to be a crucial point in the fight for survival, going to Raith Rovers and drawing 1-1. O'Brien netted the equaliser and was typically imperious in defence.

DL - Cameron Harper (Inverness CT)
Another goalscorer in the Championship and another player from a team on an extended winning run. Inverness made it five on the bounce by coming from behind to defeat Cove Rangers, drawing level with Ayr United for the final play-off spot in the process. Harper netted the winner.

MC - Tomoki Iwata (Celtic)
Hoops fans were delighted with the performance of the Japanese loanee in the 4-1 victory over Kilmarnock as Ange Postecoglou looks to have once again struck gold in the Asian market.

MC - Alex Ferguson (East Fife)
The most eye-catching result of the weekend came in cinch League 2 where East Fife thrashed Stranraer 8-0 in what would prove to be Jamie Hamill's final match in charge of the Blues. Ferguson got one of the goals in a sensational performance in the middle of the park.

MC - Liam Scullion (Clyde)
Clyde will still have to battle for their cinch League 1 lives but at least they look as if they're going to be safe from automatic relegation thanks to victory over Edinburgh, which opened up a five-point lead on Peterhead – who they face on Saturday – with three games to play. Scullion was their stand-out in the 2-1 triumph.

FC - Kevin Nisbet (Hibernian)
The star man comes from the Edinburgh derby at Easter Road, which Hibs won 1-0. Nisbet netted the only goal and dominated the Hearts defence with his movement and physicality.

FC - Alfredo Morelos (Rangers)
Morelos put in a vintage performance and netted twice as Rangers survived a couple of scares from St Mirren to eventually triumph 5-2 at Ibrox.

FC - Matty Todd (Dunfermline Athletic)
Dunfermline are the champions of League 1 after thumping previously in-form Queen of the South 5-0 to win the title. Todd, as he's been throughout the campaign, was excellent in the victory and got his name on the scoresheet.
