GK – Craig Gordon (Heart of Midlothian)
Even at 42 years old, Gordon is still changing games in his team's favour with out-of-this-world saves. Against St Johnstone on Sunday, with the match poised at 1-1, the Scotland international pulled out an incredible stop, to which Hearts responded by going down the other end and scoring the winning goal.
DEF – Akil Wright (Ross County)
The centre-back is certainly taking to his new role at right wing-back as he helped County to back-to-back victories which takes them into eighth place in the William Hill Premiership. As well as using his pace to get up and down the flank, Wright also netted an excellent bicycle kick in his side's 3-1 win over Dundee.
DEF – Coll Donaldson (Falkirk)
Falkirk now have a four-point lead at the top of the William Hill Championship table after defeating Greenock Morton 2-0 on Friday evening. Donaldson strolled through proceedings in the away backline.
DEF – Paul Hanlon (Raith Rovers)
Rovers' play-off hopes received another shot in the arm with a 2-0 home victory over Hamilton Accies which takes them within four points (with two games in hand) of Partick Thistle in fourth place. Hanlon's turnaround in form typifies that of his team in the Barry Robson era and he was excellent again on Saturday.
DEF – Will Ferry (Dundee United)
United returned to winning ways with a 1-0 home victory against Motherwell which keeps them just behind Aberdeen in the battle for third place. Ferry was his usual superb self down the left flank.
MID – Cameron O’Donnell (Alloa Athletic)
Back-to-back victories for the Wasps kept them in the play-off places this last weekend as they followed up a 2-0 triumph over Kelty last time out by going to Annan Athletic and edging the hosts in a seven-goal thriller. O'Donnell supplied three assists in the win.
MID – Harry Cochrane (Queen of the South)
Finally! Queens have themselves an away victory. The team with the best home record in William Hill League One got themselves their first away win of the season, winning 3-0 at Montrose. Cochrane was the pick of the bunch: industrious out of possession, poised on the ball and the scorer of an excellent second goal.
MID – Josh Campbell (Hibernian)
This week's Star Man comes from the early kick-off on Saturday afternoon in the Premiership as Hibs defeated champions and current league-leaders Celtic 2-1 at Easter Road. Campbell got both goals and put in a power of work to help David Gray's side make it 13 games unbeaten.
MID – Scott McGill (Stenhousemuir)
A classy performance from the midfielder helped Stenhousemuir win a huge contest at the top of the League One table, defeating previous leaders Arbroath 2-0 to go above them in the table. Cove now lead the division on goal difference ahead of Stenny with Arbroath (who have a game in hand) just a point behind in third.
MID – Danny Denholm (Forfar Athletic)
Forfar got themselves a crucial win in the William Hill League Two relegation battle, going to Bonnyrigg Rose and ending a run of nine games without victory by winning 2-0. The visitors remain seven points adrift of their hosts, but with two games in hand they will fancy their chances of making a great escape. They have also been bolstered by the return of Danny Denholm, who returned to the club where he sparkled for a three-year period a decade ago and put in an impressive performance against the Rosey Posey.
FW – Mikael Mandron (St. Mirren)
Philippe Clement is no longer manager of Rangers after the Ibrox board decided they'd had enough following a 2-0 defeat to St Mirren at Ibrox. Mandron was superb in the contest, bullying the Rangers backline and netting the all-important opening goal in the second half.
