Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View from the Terrace names his SPFL XI...

GK – Andy Fisher (St Johnstone)

Saints produced the upset of the weekend with a 1-0 win over Celtic and their goalkeeper played a huge part in the result - making nine saves against the league leaders and champions elect.

DEF – Reghan Tumilty (Hamilton Accies)

Tumilty was the top performer at East End Park as he scored the only goal of the game in this William Hill Championship clash. The result moved Accies up into eighth spot.

DEF – Declan Gallagher (Dundee United)

United remain right in the hunt for third spot in the William Hill Premiership after their 1-0 triumph at Tynecastle. Sam Dalby may have netted the game's only goal but it was Gallagher, returning from injury, who put in a terrific showing at the back.

DEF – Rocky Bushiri (Hibs)

Hibs are now 16 games unbeaten in the William Hill Premiership after going to Ibrox on Saturday and defeating Rangers 2-0. Bushiri continued his excellent form in 2025 with another dominant performance in the win.

MID – Keith Bray (Inverness CT)

This week's Star Man comes from the Highland club, who got themselves a huge three points in their battle to avoid the William Hill League 1 play-off place. The 19-year-old, who typically plays at right back, moved further forward and got his reward with a hat-trick in the 3-0 win away at Cove Rangers.

MID – Ryan Blair (Dumbarton)

The Sons recorded the biggest away victory from an already relegated side in Scottish League history as they thrashed Kelty Hearts 6-0. Blair pulled the strings for the visitors in the middle of the pitch.

MID – Scott Arfield (Falkirk)

Falkirk are in champions elect territory after Saturday's 5-0 victory over Greenock Morton moved them eight points clear at the William Hill Championship summit with just four matches remaining. Arfield got things started with his 100th career goal before grabbing his second of the game after the break.

MID – Stefan Scougall (Alloa Athletic)

Alloa remain in the hunt for a promotion play-off place and they helped their cause with a 4-1 win at Stenhousemuir. Scougall bagged himself a brace in the victory.

FWD – Simon Murray (Dundee)

Murray is now level with Daizen Maeda at the top of the William Hill Premiership's golden boot race with 15 for the campaign after his brace helped sink St. Mirren. Murray was a constant threat for Dundee, causing all sorts of problems for the visiting defence.

FWD – Chris Mochrie (Airdrieonians)

Airdrieonians' survival mission in the William Hill Championship continues at pace after Rhys McCabe's men defeated Partick Thistle 2-1. They are now just three points off Dunfermline in 9th. Mochrie was superb up top, netting both goals, including an injury-time winner.

FWD – Oliver Colloty (Peterhead)

Peterhead are in the driving seat in the William Hill League 2 title race after a 5-0 thumping of Bonnyrigg Rose while rivals East Fife were beaten by Forfar Athletic. New Zealander Colloty was the hero for the Blue Toon on this occasion, grabbing a hat-trick.
