Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View from the Terrace names his William Hill SPFL XI, with Dunfermline Athletic striker Andrew Tod the star man...

GK - James Storer (Greenock Morton)
The young keeper, on loan from Wolves, is the leading shot-stopper in the William Hill Championship with 19 saves this season and he had to make a couple more to deny Queen's Park all three points as Morton earned a 0-0 draw on the road.

DR - Luca Stephenson (Dundee United)
Premier Sports viewers were treated to a thrilling match on Saturday evening as Hibs and Dundee United shared six goals. Stephenson scored twice for the visitors in the 3-3 draw at Easter Road.

DC - Cheick Diabate (St Johnstone)
The centre-back put in another outstanding performance for Saints as they defeated Raith Rovers 2-0 at Stark's Park to move three points clear at the top of the William Hill Championship.

DC - Aidan Quinn (Montrose)
After a rough start to the campaign, Montrose won for the fourth game in succession (and the second in William Hill League 1) defeating promotion candidates Alloa Athletic 1-0 away from home. Quinn got the only goal and helped the visiting defence keep a clean sheet.

DL - Declan John (St Mirren)
Falkirk and St Mirren played out a competitive battle at the Falkirk Stadium with the visitors edging it by two goals to one. John's performance was key in St Mirren leaving with all three points. He scored the first and was a menace down the left all game.

MR - Lewis Latona (East Fife)
It's now three wins and a draw since the Fifers last lost in William Hill League 1 as they moved into fourth place with a victory over previous table-toppers Queen of the South. Latona was praised by fans for his excellent showing in the middle of the park, although most of Dick Campbell's men impressed in the 2-1 win.

MC - Finn Robson (Stenhousemuir)
Robson has been something of a revelation since moving up a division from Forfar Athletic this summer and he put in another dominant showing in the middle of the park as Stenny won 1-0 at Kelty Hearts to move top of the third-tier table.

ML - Marley Redfern (Clyde)
In most weeks the Clyde wide man would be getting Star Man honours for his hat-trick in Clyde's stunning 6-0 victory away to Annan Athletic. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't the only man to take home the match ball in the SPFL this past weekend...

FC - Andy Tod (Dunfermline Athletic)
What's better than three goals scored? The answer: three goals scored and an assist. This is what young Andy Tod Jr managed as Dunfermline Athletic laid down their credentials to get fully involved in the title race with a 5-0 away hammering of Arbroath, who were previously level on points at the top of the table.

FC - Lawrence Shankland (Heart of Midlothian)
Derek McInnes' men will be delighted after again showing they mean business this season with a 2-0 away win at Ibrox. Shankland netted both the goals to keep Hearts behind Celtic on goal difference at the summit of the William Hill Premiership.

FC - Leighton McIntosh (Dumbarton)
Dumbarton were able to overturn an early 2-0 deficit and come away with all three points from their trip to Forfar Athletic. McIntosh not only scored twice in the 3-2 triumph, he also led the line superbly for the away side.
