Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View from the Terrace names his SPFL XI...

GK – Jack Storer (Greenock Morton)

The keeper made a number of smart stops, including a vital double save in the second half, as Morton secured a 1-0 William Hill Championship win against Arbroath.

DEF – Aron Lynas (Dumbarton)

An excellent performance from the centre-back helped Dumbarton move up four spots in William Hill League 2, going from ninth to fifth, after a 2-1 win over Annan Athletic.

DEF – Jack Hannah (Queen of the South)

Queens are back up into the William Hill League 1 play-off places following a 3-0 home victory over East Fife. Hannah dominated the game in defence as the Palmerston side kept up their recent improvement.

DEF – Dylan Ross (Elgin City)

Ross scored and put in a terrific showing at left-back as Elgin City were able to beat hosts Edinburgh City to reinforce their place in the play-off spots, winning 3-1 at Meadowbank Stadium.

MID – John Robertson (East Kilbride)

The attacker managed to get on the scoresheet and finished the game as the home side's man-of-the-match as Kilby claimed a 2-0 win over Stirling Albion.

MID – Josh Mulligan (Hibs)

The midfielder put in an all-action performance as Hibs beat St. Mirren 3-0 in Paisley, a result which keeps them in third place in the William Hill Premiership.

MID – Reo Hatate (Celtic)

The Japanese midfielder looked back to his best as Celtic thumped Kilmarnock 4-0 to cut the gap on leaders Hearts to seven points with a game in hand on the Gorgie men.

MID – Mikey Moore (Rangers)

The on-loan Tottenham Hotspur winger netted his side's second goal and impressed with his direct play and dribbling ability as the Ibrox side made it three consecutive league victories with a 3-0 triumph at Dundee.

FWD – Josh Fowler (Queen’s Park)

This week's Star Man comes from the game at the City Stadium as Queen's Park earned a rare home win in what what would prove to be Barry Robson's final game in charge of Raith Rovers. Fowler was the difference between the sides, scoring twice in a 2-1 win.

FWD – Jordan White (Ross County)

Two goals from the forward saw County earn a share of the spoils against Ayr United in an entertaining 3-3 draw in Dingwall.

FWD – Oli Shaw (Hamilton Accies)

Another two-goal striker, this time coming from the third tier as Hamilton Accies eased past Peterhead with a 3-0 victory. Only the crossbar denied the striker a hat-trick on the day.
