Team of the Week

Craig Fowler from A View from the Terrace names his William Hill SPFL XI...

GK – Jerome Prior (Livingston)

Livingston ended a 31-game winless run in the William Hill Premiership, defeating St Mirren 2-0 in Paisley. Prior was a big reason why, making three very impressive first-half saves to keep the Lions in the match at 0-0.

DEF – Stephen O’Donnell (Motherwell)

Motherwell dented Rangers' title hopes with a 3-2 victory at Ibrox on Sunday. Although it's harsh to leave out Emmanuel Longelo after his two-goal performance, O'Donnell was equally as impressive on the other side and bagged a pair of assists.

DEF – Gavin Molloy (Aberdeen)

The centre-back was a stand out for Aberdeen as Stephen Robinson's men earned a second straight victory (and clean sheet) to ease any fears about their William Hill Premiership survival after a 1-0 triumph over Kilmarnock.

DEF – Jamie Hamilton (East Kilbride)

The centre-back put in a terrific performance as East Kilbride moved to within a point of the William Hill League Two title, beating Dumbarton 1-0 away from home.

DEF – Will Ferry (Dundee United)

Ferry was hugely involved in all three goals for Dundee United as they put their rivals Dundee to the sword, scoring twice (including a bizarre opener) and getting an assist in a 3-0 win for Jim Goodwin's men.

MID – Sabah Kerjota (Heart of Midlothian)

Hearts' lead at the top of the William Hill Premiership is back to three points after they were able to finally overcome a plucky performance from nine-man Hibs in the Edinburgh derby. The reason for the turnaround in the 2-1 win was Kerjota's impact off the bench as the Albanian created both goals for Derek McInnes' men.

MID – Mikey Anderson (Stenhousemuir)

The midfielder put in a terrific performance as Stenny defeated Alloa Athletic 1-0 which, along with Inverness CT drawing with East Fife, means the William Hill League 1 title race will go down to the final day.

MID – Craig Slater (Forfar Athletic)

Forfar were superb this past weekend in putting four goals past Edinburgh City without reply as they booked their place in the William Hill League 1 play-offs. Slater was easily Man of the Match as he dominated the midfield area.

MID – Ryan Duncan (Ross County)

A superb showing from Duncan, and a goal, helped County to record an impressive 4-0 victory over fellow strugglers Greenock Morton as the second tier's bottom club take the William Hill Championship relegation fight to the final day.

FWD – Daizen Maeda (Celtic)

Celtic are back up into second place in the William Hill Premiership after a 3-1 victory over Falkirk at Celtic Park. Maeda was the difference between the sides, scoring the first goal, winning back possession for the second then securing it with a late third. For such an influential performance, he is this week's Star Man.

FWD – Kevin O’Hara (Hamilton Accies)

Accies have given themselves the chance of securing survival in William Hill League 1 on the final day after a 3-1 win over Peterhead. O'Hara scored one, set up another and his tenacity in attack was key for the hosts.
