SPFL newcomers Kelty Hearts have appointed Kevin Thomson as their new manager following the departure of Barry Ferguson to Alloa Athletic.
The 36-year-old former Scotland midfielder, who had been working as a youth coach at Ibrox, will be officially unveiled by the Fife club on Saturday.
Thomson told the Kelty Hearts website: "This is the perfect fit for me at this stage in my management and coaching career. It is a club I know well and I am sure we can achieve success together in the years ahead."
