Topps crown first ever SPL Match Attax Champion!

Ross Weir is the first ever SPL Match Attax Champion after winning the grand final at Tannadice last weekend.

Back in January, Topps visited five major cities in Scotland to launch the first ever SPL Match Attax trading card collection, and to begin the search for the first ever SPL Match Attax National Champion.

Hundreds of children took part in the heat rounds, chasing the dream of securing exclusive finalist places in the grand finals which were held at the Dundee United versus Aberdeen match on Saturday the 6th of April.

Prior to kick-off, the Match Attax finalists battled it out pitch-side at Tannadice, right next to the mouth of the tunnel! The grand final took place on the pitch at half-time with Ross Weir fighting off a stern challenge from Blaire Kettles to become the first ever SPL Match Attax National Champion!

Topps and the SPL would like to thank the following finalists for taking part:

Daniel Byron
Eliot Donaghy
Blaine Ferguson
Darren Bowman
Taylor Smith
Scott Forsyth
Blaire Kettles
Andrew Baptie
Ross Weir
