Ayr United are now up to second place after recovering from two goals down to defeat Queen's Park 3-2 at Hampden, with Curtis Main scoring the winner.

Ryan Dow grabbed the winner as Arbroath won 2-1 at bottom club Dumbarton to move five points clear of Stenhousemuir at the top of William Hill League 1.

Bottom club Forfar Athletic earned a crucial 2-1 victory at Stranraer in William Hill League 2 to close the gap on ninth-placed Bonnyrigg Rose to three points.

The Loons fell behind then had Mackenzie Lemon sent off in first-half stoppage time but Craig Slater equalised and Bradley Rodden converted a stoppage-time penalty.
