Dumbarton midfielder Chris Turner is almost certainly out of tomorrow’s William Hill Scottish Cup tie at Alloa after leaving The Bet Butler Stadium on crutches following Wednesday night’s 2-2 draw with Livingston.
The Northern Irishman lasted only 7 minutes of the game against the Lions before limping off with an ankle problem, although manager Ian Murray has not completely ruled him out.
Murray explained: “It does look like a nasty injury however we will need to wait and see. Colin Nish was in a similar shape last weekend and we got him onto the park against Livingston so you never know.”
“Chris is a big player for us but we have won games without him in the past and hopefully will again.”
