The 6 foot four inch 24-year-old former Hamilton Accies and Berwick Ranger front man Coult, who is nicknamed Flamingo, joined the Diamonds after parting company with the Blue Brazil last week and he said: “Airdrie may have been relegated but my sights are set on getting them back to the First Division. I am looking forward to getting started but I am not here to play mid-table or be part of relegation.”

“I am here to score goals and get Airdrie back up to the First Division.”

Lister, who has also played for Berwick Rangers, Alloa and Brechin City scored 15 times in the First Division as the Sons saw off relegation and he has opted to drop down a league saying: “I was delighted Dumbarton stayed up and they offered me a deal. However I discussed things with my family and thought the best decision for me was to come here.”

“I learned a lot in the First Division and I am hoping I can show that at Airdrie who are a great club with a great set-up. I live nearby and hopefully my experience can help the talented kids that are here.”
