Celtic moved to the top of the Clydesdale Bank U20 League thanks to a comfortable 4-0 victory over Dundee at Dens Park in their latest outing. Bahrudin Atajic opened the scoring then Lewis Kidd and Rabiu Ibrahim were on target before Atajic added a late fourth.
Second-placed Dundee United didn't have a game this week but Aberdeen, in third, closed the gap with a 4-1 win against Dunfermline at Glebe Park thanks to goals from Declan McManus, Rory Fallon, Jordon Brown and Joe Shaughnessy. Blair Henderson netted for the Pars.
Inverness CT are in fourth spot after coming from behind to beat Hamilton 3-1 at the Tulloch Caledonian Stadium. Gary Fraser gave Accies an interval lead but Jason Oswell, Liam Polworth and George Brislen-Hall all scored in the second half.
Hearts recovered from the loss of two early goals to overcome Motherwell 4-2 at Tynecastle. Axel Bossekota and Craig Moore had the visitors in command but Jamie Walker grabbed a hat-trick and Billy King was also on target as Hearts turned the game on its head.
Hibernian proved too strong for Kilmarnock as they racked up a 3-0 win at Rugby Park. Euan Smith and Daniel Handling struck midway through the first half and a late Mohamadou Sissoko own goal sealed the points.
St Mirren edged out St Johnstone 2-1 at McDiarmid Park. Chris Kane cancelled out Jack Smith's opener but Anton Brady grabbed the winner just before half-time.
Falkirk were 2-1 winners at home to Ross County. Thomas Grant and Conor McGrandles netted for the Bairns while Gary Glen had the Staggies level for a time.
