U20 League: Hibs beat Celtic, Dons hit back

Hibernian ended Celtic's recent good run when they recorded a 2-1 win at Firhill on Tuesday night with goals from Jay Doyle and Ross Caldwell after Bahrudin Atajic scored first.

John Kennedy's side have already wrapped up an U20 League and Youth Cup double and went into the match on the back of a 3-0 win over Hearts on Saturday. Liam Henderson bagged a double and Patrik Twardzik was also on target in that game.

Hearts bounced back to beat Dundee United 2-0 at Tannadice with goals from Angus Beith and Denis Prychynenko.

Second-placed Aberdeen, the highest scorers in the league, came from behind to see off Inverness CT 3-2. The hosts were in front through a Stephen O'Neill own goal and a Shane Sutherland effort but O'Neill pulled one back, Cammy Smith equalised and Marcus Campanile won it.

Kilmarnock netted three times in the last seven minutes to defeat Hamilton 3-2 at Rugby Park, where Eamonn Brophy then Danny Armstrong has scored for Accies. Robbie Muirhead's double and Caomhin Bonner turned the tide Killie's way in the closing stages.

Dunfermline recorded a 3-1 victory over St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park. Scott Gray bagged a brace and Declan O'Kane also scored for the Pars. Craig Thomson netted for Saints.

Falkirk and Motherwell drew 1-1, with Lee Erwin cancelling out Michael Martin's opener and it was the same score at Dens Park where Dundee opened the scoring through Craig Wighton and Jon Scullion equalised for St Mirren.
