Ayr United thrashed Alloa Athletic 6-0 at Somerset Park to seal top spot and Stirling Albion are through as one of the best runners-up after a stunning 4-0 victory over St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park.

Group B
Partick Thistle progress thanks to a 2-1 home win over Spartans but runners-up Falkirk don't make the last 16 despite beating Peterhead 4-1.

Group C
Livingston defeated Clyde 1-0 at the Tony Macaroni Arena to top the section but Hamilton Accies are out after a 2-2 draw with Cove Rangers. Cove picked up the bonus point in the shoot-out at New Douglas Park.

Group D
Ross County won the group despite being held to a 3-3 draw by Kelty in Dingwall, with the visitors winning the shoot-out. Greenock Morton are through as one of the best runners-up after beating Edinburgh City 4-1 at Cappielow.

Group E
Airdrieonians qualified for the last 16 with a 100% record after winning 1-0 at Bonnyrigg Rose. Dundee face Inverness CT tomorrow, live on Viaplay at 3.00pm.

Group F
Kilmarnock secured first place with a 2-1 victory at Albion Rovers while Raith Rovers won 3-2 at Annan Athletic. Rovers will go through unless Dundee beat Inverness CT by two goals on Sunday.

Group G
Motherwell saw off East Fife 3-0 at Fir Park to win the group. Queen of the South finished second after a 2-1 win over Queen’s Park at Lesser Hampden but it wasn’t enough to progress.

Group H
St Mirren saw off Forfar Athletic 4-0 in Paisley to win the group on goal difference from the Loons, who miss out despite earning nine points. Arbroath beat Montrose 3-0 at Gayfield.
