Hearts winger Jamie Walker is expected to be out for around 10 weeks after it was confirmed he had suffered a broken foot in Saturday's 1-0 defeat to Motherwell at Tynecastle.
The 20-year-old is set to undergo surgery on Thursday and boss Gary Locke told the club website: "It's a massive blow as he has been one of the players giving us a goal threat this season.
"It didn't look good for the lad and now we know for sure - it's the same type of injury that Jason Holt has."
