Stenhousemuir are set to name their new manager early next week following the departure of Martyn Corrigan last month.
A group of senior players will again take the team for Saturday's home game against East Fife but the new man should be in place for next weekend's trip to Ibrox.
A statement on the club website read: "The Board reviewed the 34 applications received for the manager's post and have interviewed 11 candidates.
"The interviewing panel will be recommending a shortlist - the Board will review the list and make a final decision at Monday's Board meeting."
