Dunfermline Athletic have parted company with central defender James Washburn, who only joined the Pars from Torquay United at the end of July.
The 19-year-old had not forced his way into the first team and Manager Jim Jefferies, as well as the player, decided he should move on.
Jefferies said: “We had a review of James’ situation and it was agreed that he should be released so he can seek another club.”
