Queen of the South striker hopes to feature before season ends

David WeatherstonQueen of the South striker David Weatherston is hoping to get over his hamstring injury and feature for the Dumfries men again before the season runs out a week on Saturday. Weatherston has been out for a month now and the 24-year-old said, “I missed out on the ALBA Challenge Cup Final and that was a real disappointment so I do not want the season to end without playing again as well.”

“This Saturday may be too soon however, I would like to feature against Dundee at Palmerston on the final day of the League season.”
